Ty and I started at Shawna & Mike's house... and took the light rail to so many incredible places in downtown Phoenix. It was great to really experience "the city" for my first time in 6 years. And, WOW -- It was exhausting! We did a ton of walking... and just had so much fun. My body felt like I was 80 years old after this 6 hour photo shoot!
I was happy to have my husband with me today -- because he is so creative... he works fabulously with the super zoom lens... and we're always there for each other to "fill in the holes." This photo shoot would not have been possible without him.
Shawna is an amazing friend. My sister {Brandy} found her by pure luck when she first moved to Phoenix. Shawna hooked my sister up with her first job in Phoenix. And, they became instant "BFF's"... Over the years - Shawna has become my 2nd big sister and I love her like family. She was even a bridesmaid in our wedding.
We are so happy she found Mike because he is such an incredible person... and, I've never seen Shawna as happy as she is when she is with him.
Luckily for us -- their super fun personality ... and their love for each other made this photo shoot a bit easier on us. I feel we got some great candids... as, we are not always the best at giving direction or "posing."
We did do some minimal "posing" ... and it sure was fun. Shawna is also my HR Manager at the Law Firm. I think this was the first time I got to tell her what to do. ;p haha.
