Our first day with the DSLR was like a deer in headlights... we were so confused -- didn't know what to do, or where to go.
I headed straight to the User Manual -- it helped a little.
In the past few days, I've read the entire thing twice. We've learned a few things... and have had ok results in day light. Our biggest challenge has been photographing in the dark (and we are night owls)... I'm not a fan of a big bright flash -- I like photographs to look really natural. So, I guess we need a lens with better low light capabilities??
After we get the hang of all these new camera settings... it's time to start researching new lenses! ... And, ZOOM would be nice too! :)
