Hi Everyone!
For those of you who know Mr. Jeff Miller, you know the depth of his awesomeness... and the brilliance behind his photography!
For those of you who don't know him -- I'll tell you this : he's such a good friend, he's like family. Unfortunately, we don't get to see his face often enough, as he travels for work a lot, but luckily {for our viewing pleasure} his travels have brought about some incredible photographs.
Jeff not only has enough bravery to go out into the wild and photograph snakes and other dangerous creatures... but, we've seen some brilliant landscapes, cityscapes, nature, wildlife, beautiful portraits of his girlfriend -- the list of his talents go on... and on.
We've seen Jeff through a lot... we've seen him grow as a person... and we've seen him grow as a photographer. Every new photo album he posts is more brilliant than the one before. He's a great inspiration to many of us... and he's always there to answer questions & give advice when we need it.
For being such an awesome person -- I find it hard to believe how incredibly humble and down to earth he is.
The point of this blog today is to HELP him out with something that will be a life changing experience. He has an opportunity to travel to Africa with some (very important) people that could potentially turn his "aspiration" into a "reality." I personally already consider him a "pro"... but, this is just what he needs to move one more step forward.
Unfortunately, he doesn't have enough funds to get to Africa... so, that's where we come in! Any little bit helps. And, if nothing else -- we're paying for {our viewing pleasure!} ... If you've seen what he can do in America... just imagine what he can do in Africa!!
If you'd like to make a donation (ANY little bit helps!), you can do so a few different ways (hopefully these links work -- this is the first time I've done anything like this.)
Via the Facebook FunRazr App at: Facebook FundRazr
Directly through : PayPal , send to the email address: Jaffolicious@gmail.com
You can contact Jeff directly via email (regarding donations or photography) at: Jeff Miller
Or Send him a friend request on Facebook: Jeff On Facebook
If you have any further questions... feel free to email me at: Brenda Reed
I typically don't post this many photos on one blog... but, it's impossible to choose *favorites* when it comes to Jeff's photography... (and I apologize for the images being so small -- but, I'm not cool enough yet to figure out how to make them bigger on the blog) ;p
And now {for your viewing pleasure} I'd like to feature : Jeff Miller Photography :)

Ty at the Phoenix Mountain Preserve
Ty & I went out to the Phoenix Mountain Preserve at Sunset for me to practice some shots on an actual human being... and my favorite one, at that. <3
I am getting a little bit more familiar with the camera settings ... but I need to work a bit on my lighting, angles & posing.
Out of 100 photos, I only got about 15 that I actually like. But, I guess that's all a part of the learning process... and we had a lot of fun!
Here are my favorites!

Eye Candy from Ear Candy
We have two friends that are incredible musicians... Krystal Waters (formerly known as Krystal Baker) and Sturgis Waters... they are married and incredibly musically talented. They were recently the musical talent for an awesome event that we were lucky to attend.
Their duo band is "The Waters" and they used to play (and often have reunions) with The Wild Angels Band. We'll tell you more about them later -- and I'm sure they will be featured on our blog very soon! We love them & their music is incredible. Check out their website, calendar, and go see them next time they play! http://www.thewatersmusic.com
Their most recent event we attended was http://www.earcandycharity.org/. Ear Candy is a non-profit organization devoted to providing kids access to music education. I personally think this is incredible! Everyone (money aside) should have the opportunity to express themselves creatively... especially at a young age! And, we definitely heard some "Ear Candy" that night. The Water's sound was incredible at this amazing outdoor courtyard venue.
The Sheraton Crescent provided such a beautiful ambiance. They had a perfect outdoor set-up with lots of tables, outdoor bars, waitresses & great food and drink specials. The twinkle lights in the trees and waterfalls just added to the perfection. http://deals.sheraton.com/Sheraton-Crescent-Phoenix-Hotel-102/SO.htm?PS=PS_aa_WSW_WestSouthwest_Google_BD_sheraton_crescent_Exact_101410_NAD_FM
Unfortunately, we were a little pre-occupied with great entertainment and great friends, we didn't capture enough of the "event" itself... but, we got a few good shots of our friends. Here's a our favorites...
